| What is Kasarinlan? Kasarinlan is a vocal and instrumental ensemble established in 1985 to cultivate and promote Philippine music and cultural identity. It strives toward an authentic portrayal of the Filipino spirit, sensibility, thought and values through musical performances, dance and related arts - highlighting Filipino creativity and strengths, hopes and aspirations, and distinct visions of life and meaning. Every performance of Kasarinlan provides the viewer insights into the Filipino character, history, lifeways, cultural diversity and shared experiences. |
